College Planning Appointments Staff met with more than 6,500 clients to help them find the right college, learn how to pay for college, and file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Through these appointments, nearly 3,300 FAFSAs were filed. We partner with school counselors, educators, and community-based agencies to provide our free services. Outreach Services EducationQuest staff partners with 90 community agencies statewide each year to reach Nebraskans whose circumstances make it difficult for them to pursue higher education. These can include low-income students, minority students, immigrants, students with disabilities, and adult learners. College Fairs EducationQuest partnered with the Nebraska Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (NACRAO) and school counselors to coordinate 45 in-person college fairs in Fall 2023. Sixty-three colleges participated in the daytime events and more than 15,000 students attended.

Programs, Webinars and Presentations EducationQuest hosted 462 webinars and programs in English and Spanish to help Nebraska students plan for college. These events drew more than 42,361 attendees. Middle School Resources We help middle school students prepare for college through the Look2College program for 6th grade students and KnowHow2GO for 7th and 8th grade students. Resources include publications, presentations, a virtual career day, and online activities, including digital escape rooms. There were 50 presentations that attracted nearly 5,000 attendees.
