8th Grade Campus Visit Grants EducationQuest awarded 8th Grade Campus Visit Grants to 69 Nebraska schools that will cover the cost of a college visit along with related activities to help students get on the path to college. Since the 2011-12 academic year, 648 grants totaling more than $380,000 have been awarded. College Access Grants EducationQuest awards College Access Grants every two years to help selected high schools develop and support college-access activities. Schools are funded for four years with annual awards ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, depending on school enrollment. Since the program began in 2006, 179 College Access Grants have been awarded to 111 high schools totaling $6.2 million.
EducationQuest Scholarship Program This fall, EducationQuest granted $1.57 million to Nebraska’s 30 nonprofit colleges and universities for distribution to eligible undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need. Since 1999, the program has provided more than 27,000 scholarships worth over $28.8 million . Reaching Your Potential Scholarship The program awards renewable scholarships twice each year to low-income Nebraska students who face obstacles to college. Since the program began in 2000, EducationQuest has awarded more than $8.5 million in scholarships to 657 Nebraskans. Of these, 80 percent have experienced success.
